How Do I Know What Level of Care I Might Need?
Figuring out what level of care is needed often comes down to how much support you want with your day-to-day life and your overall health.
If you are independent, but could use a hand here and there, personal or companion care might be the right fit. This type of support can make everyday routines easier and more comfortable, and includes help with bathing, getting dressed, preparing meals, moving around safely, or simply having someone assist with errands, light housekeeping, transportation, or companionship.
If you’re managing a medical condition or need more hands-on support, nursing care may be more appropriate. This includes oversight from a Registered Nurse, help understanding and managing your condition, support with exercises, dressing changes, and monitoring vitals and blood sugar.
