Everything You Need and More, Right Here

Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury (RWC) was built with convenience in mind, and residents love the array of amenities that make living here feel like a vacation. Our campus isn’t just beautiful; it was designed to make everything accessible and walkable, so you’ll never have trouble finding your next adventure on-site.

Do as little or as much as you wish with an endless array of amenities, delicious food, and activities right at your fingertips! It’s all in your hands.

Love Where You Live

The Northern Neck and its surrounding community are full of sights to see and activities to do! Venture out for a few rounds of golf, explore the nearby world-class resort, sit down for a magical evening of fine dining, or spend the day at a local winery or boutique. As a historic region rooted in generations of local tradition, the Northern Neck offers museums, county fairs, waterfront festivals, and community events that reflect its rich heritage, culture, and close-knit way of life.

Boaters will be happy to take advantage of the hundreds of miles of shoreline along the breathtaking rivers, creeks, and Chesapeake Bay. The water is almost always perfect for watersports. Kayakers and sightseers may even catch a glimpse of local wildlife, like dolphins! With great water comes an even greater quality of seafood, and local farmer’s markets have only the best to offer.

The only thing better than the gorgeous views is the community. Your neighbors in the Northern Neck know what it means to be a family, and the spirit of helping one another is both heartwarming and contagious! Many in the community volunteer in their churches, libraries, and civic groups. Theater and fine arts groups add a diverse layer of unique creativity to form the fabric of a sophisticated cultural life. Local businesses are also a big part of the area, and you can always find an extraordinary selection of goods and services, making it easy to shop close to home.

Plus, RWC is conveniently located just minutes from Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital, providing easy access to local emergency and medical services when needed.

Get ready to enrich your life in ways you’ve never imagined!

Dine in or out,

Your Choice

We know that dining is an important part of a person’s social life, so RWC ensures it delivers on the culinary front. Head to Lakeview Grille for daily casual dining options, and enjoy chef-inspired main courses, appetizers, soups, and desserts. Whether you choose to dine in, take meals to go, or opt for meal delivery (available for an additional charge), our flexible dining program is designed to meet your needs. If you’re not feeling well, delivery is provided at no cost for a courtesy period.

For a more formal option, Lancaster Room accepts dinner reservations on select days and for special events. Dining in either the Grille or the Lancaster Dining Room is also a wonderful way to socialize, build friendships, and stay connected within the community.

Looking to celebrate a special event? No problem! Residents are welcome to reserve special areas for occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. RWC also offers catering for special events, even within the comfort of your own home. Residents especially enjoy our special occasion meals throughout the year, including holiday dinners and themed events, which create meaningful opportunities to gather and celebrate together.

For those who wish to get more involved, our Food Committee provides a great way for residents to share feedback and have a voice in shaping the dining experience.
