December & Christmas in the RWC Neighborhood

Season’s Greetings from Stuart Bunting, RWC President & CEO.

We have had an amazing year in the RWC neighborhood.  Christmas is upon us and we are immersed in a wide range of holiday activities through December.  You will want to check out the December calendar closely for all the regular RWC activities and the special seasonal opportunities.

Currently the RWC Foundation Angel Tree program is going on. Volunteers are set up in the Grille Lobby to accept honor and memorial donations for your “angels” which will greatly support the residents who benefit from the Fellowship Fund’s special ministry.

RWC will again participate in the Kilmarnock Christmas Parade, on Tuesday, December 18th with a wonderful float entry.  We hope you will join us on Main Street at 7:00 p.m. to cheer us on.  Earlier on Tuesday, the 18th we will also have our Christmas Service.

On December 31st you can see 2018 out and welcome 2019 in with the New Year’s Eve party and later enjoy brunch on New Year’s Day.

I encourage you to take in the experience of the holiday season in our neighborhood, and if you have a chance invite a friend from the greater community to come see how rich life is at RWC. We are blessed at RWC by a deep sense of community. People care about people in our neighborhood, and that care provides a powerful strength and resilience with which to face each day. I am grateful for the caring community in which you live and we, the staff, serve.

We all wish you a wonderful Christmas season as you enjoy its many blessings and celebrations.
