Renovating Your New Home at RWC

Renovating Your New Home at RWC

Making the move to Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury is as easy as 1-2-3!

Once you have been approved to move to RWC, the next steps are straightforward.

  1. Select the renovations you wish to make to your new home, based on the RWC renovation committee’s review of the condition and current finishes in the unit.
  2. Meet with a marketing team member and Coastal Builders contractor to discuss the prospective renovations and interior design options.
RWC has generous standard allowances and options, which are included in the entrance fee. You can choose upgrades that exceed the cost of our standard allowances if you pay the difference in cost between your selection and standard options.  For choices that require an upgrade charge, an estimate is provided before work proceeds.  Final charges are assessed upon completion and do not exceed the estimate.
  3. A renovations selection sheet is used to track renovations to your new home. This sheet lists all modifications being made to your unit.  Our goal is to have your unit completely renovated within 90 days of the date you sign the renovations selections sheet.*  The RWC marketing team will assist you during this entire process to make sure we stay on track.  Once renovations are completed, our marketing team will schedule an appointment to ensure all renovations have been completed to your satisfaction. Our goal is to make the renovation process easy and fun!

Adam and David have extensive hands-on experience in every aspect of custom home building. David is a third-generation contractor with background in residential and commercial construction and renovations.

From the beginning, Adam and David have followed one simple principle: Building homes that exceed all expectations while developing great working relationships with customers before, during and after the building process. “It’s very important to us that we truly listen to our clients’ wants, needs, and concerns.”

*Once the renovations selection sheet is signed, your choices are solidified, including confirming any extra charge “upgrades.”  If you change your mind after signing the selection sheet, you are responsible for any charges associated with returning products, including shipping and restocking fees.
