A Morning of True Crime & Area History

Mark your calendars now for 10 a.m. April 22 for a captivating presentation with Danny Plott, a 40-year law enforcement veteran.

Plott was the lead detective on the notorious Colonial Parkway Murders case, one of Virginia’s most haunting investigations — featured in Season 5 of Joe Kenda’s Homicide Hunter: American Detective.

When he retired, no suspect had been tied to the murders. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the men and women of the VSP and the FBI, in 2024, a suspect was found through a DNA match.  He has now been tied to two of the four Parkway murders and two separate other murders.
